A 19th-century chophouse on Fulton Street that closed in 2004, reopened in 2021, and came back swinging. The gaslit dining room is drop-dead gorgeous — original mahogany, velvet banquettes, and enough atmosphere to make you forget which century you're in. The menu walks a line between classic and modern that most restaurants fumble. Gage & Tollner does not fumble.
