Kris Yenbamroong's Thai restaurant is loud, bold, and unapologetically spicy. The larb is incendiary, the drinking food — sai krok, fried chicken, crispy rice salad — is built for a group with cold beers, and the whole experience has a punk-rock energy that most Thai restaurants lack. This isn't polite Thai food. It's the real thing, cranked up.
Insider tip
The pad kee mao (drunken noodles) and the fried chicken skins. Say yes when they ask if you want it spicy.
